The 2023/24 UEFA Europa League is now fully underway after the second legs of the playoff round matches were played on Thursday 31 August and the draw for the group stage was confirmed on Friday. The first group stage matches will be held on 21 September and will continue with 6 matchdays in total, the last taking place on 14 December.
2023/24 Europa League Group Stage
On Friday, the 32 teams were drawn into 8 groups of 4. The groups for the 2023/24 Europa League are as follows:

Aris Limassol, Brighton & Hove Albion, BK Häcken, Raków Częstochowa, Servette, and TSC will all be making the Europa League group stage debuts.
2023/24 Europa League Knockout Phase
After the group stage is concluded, there will be a preliminary knockout round with the first legs on 15 February and the second legs on 22 February featuring 16 teams including 8 groups runners-up and 8 group third-place teams from the UEFA Champions League group stage.
This is followed by the knockout phase Round of 16 featuring the 8 group winners from the group stage and the 8 winners from the preliminary knockout round. First legs will take place on 7 March and second legs will be on 14 March.
After this, the competition follows a straightforward tournament structure with 8 teams in the quarterfinals (first legs on 11 April and second legs on 18 April), 4 teams in the semifinals (first legs on 2 May and second legs on 9 May), and 2 teams in the final.
2023/24 Europa League Final
The final for the 2023/24 Europa League will be held at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland on 22 May 2024. Last year, Sevilla reestablished their Europa League dominance – having now won the competition a record 7 times - by beating Roma 4-1 on penalties. Who will be victorious in 2024?
