Rugby matches are not hugely expensive sports events to attend, but neither are they incredibly cheap; generally, however, it will depend on the type of match you are attending. Smaller club matches generally have cheaper tickets on sale – for example an adult ticket for a Gallagher Premiership match can normally be bought for less than £30. Meanwhile, international test matches taking place in large, famous stadiums, for example Cape Town Stadium (DHL Stadium), will likely command relatively large fees – sometimes reaching hundreds of Euros of British Pounds – especially if they are part of a prestigious tournament.
Koobit not only shows ticket prices for an array of viewing areas on offer at a specific match, but also uses price filters to help you find a rugby ticket that is within your budget.
As the price of match tickets can be affected by several factors, including the type of match, seat location, and the time at which they are purchased, there are multiple things that can help fans get cheap rugby tickets. Match tickets are often more expensive at international matches than at club matches, and the cheaper international tickets will be found outside of formal tournaments – for example tickets for matches in the summer and autumn test windows are likely to be cheaper than World Cup matches. Moreover, seats behind the posts will often be cheaper than those along the sidelines. Another tip is to purchase rugby tickets early: many rugby teams, particularly club sides, employ “early-bird” sales windows, when tickets are sold at a reduced price.
Koobit compares many different ticket types, to help fans secure the cheapest rugby tickets possible: as well as displaying many seats throughout a given rugby stadium, Koobit also includes discounted tickets, and tickets from the secondary ticket market.
Some large rugby stadiums offer on-site parking, or official off-site parking areas. Other rugby stadiums facilitate “park and walk” or “park and ride” sites, which allow fans to travel part of the way by car. In general, parking passes for rugby matches should be purchased in advance, particularly for international matches, but some events allow parking to be paid for on the day.

Only the biggest international rugby teams and tournaments provide official hotel packages. However, professional rugby matches generally take place in or around urban areas, so finding accommodation is usually straightforward.
