Ulster Rugby, often referred to as simply Ulster, is a rugby union club which competes in the United Rugby Championship (URC). The club plays at the Ravenhill Stadium in Belfast - known as the Kingspan Stadium for sponsorship purposes - and represents the Irish province of Ulster; the side's crest incorporates the red hand motif seen on the provincial flag. The team's traditional home colour is white.
Ulster Rugby was formed in 1879, alongside fellow Irish provincial sides Leinster and Munster. Many of the club's early matches were against the other provinces, as well as foreign touring sides. Towards the end of the 20th century Ulster became increasingly successful, winning 10 Interprovincial Championships in a row between 1985 and 1994.
In 1999, just a couple of years after rugby union's professional era began, Ulster became the first Irish team to win the Heineken Cup (now Champions Cup). The club also won the Pro14 (now URC) in 2006, and has finished as runners-up on numerous other occasions.
The home venue of Ulster Rugby is Affidea Stadium in Belfast. Away games will usually be played at the rival team's home venue.
Ulster rugby tickets typically go on sale several weeks before each fixture. At the beginning of the season, when the United Rugby Championship (URC) schedule is announced, tickets for the first fixtures of the season go on sale; further ticket sales then open throughout the season, at regular intervals.
Tickets for Ulster home matches can be purchased online or in-person, at the stadium ticket office. Purchasing tickets online is however normally the best and easiest means of securing tickets, as there is likely to be a wider range of tickets available in advance of match day; buying tickets upon arrival may mean there is less choice, and tickets may even be sold out. Koobit provides links to purchase tickets online directly from official suppliers and resellers.

My first Ulster match. Not the best outcome, but the stadium and crowd were electric!
