The Dominican Republic is football crazy and although it’s only a small country, there are 12 teams in the top league, Liga Dominicana de Fútbol. Top teams include Club Atlético Pantoja, Delfines del Este, Atlántico FC, and Cibao FC. Its national football team, Federacion Dominica de Futbol can be watched playing its home games at Felix Sanchez Olympic Stadium. The country’s favourite sport, however, is baseball, as it boasts one of the top performing national baseball teams in the world. Their home games can be watched at Estadio Quisqueya.
