There is no on-site car parking at the Cbus Super Stadium, except for disabled spectators, and on match days parking restrictions are in place throughout the local Robina area, including on the roads close to the stadium; cars cannot stop for more than 2 minutes without a local resident parking permit. Travelling to the Cbus Super Stadium by car is discouraged, except in the case of disabled visitors. However, if travelling by other means is not possible, drivers should make use of park and ride facilities.
Park and ride
On match days, park and ride car parks operate out of the following 3 locations:
Free shuttle buses run from all 3 car parks from approximately 2 hours before kick-off until kick-off. Services then operate from the stadium to all 3 car parks from the final whistle for approximately 1 hour. Exact times may vary, depending on the scale of the match in question.
Disabled-accessible on-site car parking
Whilst the Firth Park park and ride shuttle service is disabled-accessible, and accessible car parking spaces are available at the Firth Park car park itself, there are also some disabled-accessible car parking spaces located along Stadium Drive, on the east side of the venue, providing easy, direct access to the stadium gates. To be eligible for an accessible parking space, one must be in possession of a valid Australian Disability Parking Permit, also known as Purple or Blue permits. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so those wishing to guarantee themselves a space are encouraged to arrive early.
Please note that any cars which are idle or parked along Stadium Drive from up to 40 minutes before the end of an event will be prevented from exiting the road until up 45 minutes following the event, to allow the safe passage of pedestrians. Visitors who would otherwise be picked-up by car are therefore encouraged to either organise public transport, or be picked-up further from the stadium.
Although Australia is expensive overall, there is accommodation to suit almost all budgets from hostels to beachfront hotels. Of course, the closer you stay to the tourist hotspots, the more you will pay.
