Athletic Club Sparta Praha - more commonly known as Sparta Prague or Sparta Praha - is a Czech professional football club based in Prague and playing in the Czech First League. The club's home ground is the epet ARENA.
Founded in the late 1800s after 3 brothers Václav, Bohumil, and Rudolf Rudl wanted to set up a sports team, the club is the most successful in the Czech football system having won numerous league and cup titles. Sparta Prague also regularly plays in European cup competitions and many of the Czech national team players come from the club.
