The highest tier of German football has published the schedule for the coming season. Fixtures start on 18 August 2023 and run through to 18 May 2024 with many thrilling match-ups to look forward to!
2023/24 Key Bundesliga Fixtures
Last season, the title race went down to the last day with Borussia Dortmund looking almost certain to stop bitter rivals Bayern Munich from winning the league for the 11th time in a row, however, Bayern managed to snatch the title! The 2 Der Klassiker contests next season are scheduled for 3 November 2023 at Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund and 30 March 2024 at Allianz Arena, Munich.
Despite losing Schalke and the Revierderby (against Dortmund) and Hertha Berlin and the Berlin derby (against Union Berlin) due to relegation, there are other key derbies taking place as well. The Rhine derby between FC Köln and Borussia Mönchengladbach is contested at RheinEnergieStadion, Cologne on 20 October 2023 and at Borussia-Park, Mönchengladbach on 8 March 2024. The Bavarian derby between Bayern and Augsburg takes place on 25 August 2023 at Allianz Arena, Munich and on 26 January 2024 at WWK Arena, Augsburg.
2023/24 Bundesliga Teams
The 18 teams will play each other home and away for a total of 34 matches apiece. At the end of the 2022/23 season, Schalke 04 and Hertha Berlin were relegated to 2. Bundesliga while FC Heidenheim and Darmstadt 98 were promoted to Bundesliga. The 18 teams competing in the 2023/24 season are as follows:

Teams will be hoping to finish in the top positions in the table with first taking the title as well as a UEFA Champions League place. The teams in 2nd to 4th place will also qualify for the Champions League, while 5th place qualifies for the UEFA Europa League as does the team that finishes 6th if the winners of the DFB-Pokal also finish in the top 5.
