1. Fußballclub Heidenheim 1846 e.V. - more commonly shortened to 1. FC Heidenheim or simply FC Heidenheim - is a German professional football club based in Heidenheim, Baden-Württemberg and currently playing in the country's top tier Bundesliga. The club plays home games at Voith-Arena.
Founded in 1846 as the name suggests, the club was initially a branch of Heidenheimer Sportbund. After many mergers and restructures throughout its history, the club saw a significant rise up the leagues from the late 1990s. At the end of the 2022/23 season, on the final day, FC Heidenheim managed to guarantee promotion to the Bundesliga for the first time in the club's history.
