Each Formula 1 Grand Prix is contested by 20 cars, with each of the 10 teams in the championship represented by 2 separate drivers. The events begin with qualifying races, which determine the starting order for the competitive race. The driver who performs best in qualifying starts in pole position, while the driver who performs worst must start furthest from the line.
The winner of the Grand Prix race receives a trophy and 25 championship points, while those who finish second and third receive 18 and 15 points respectively. This continues down to the driver who finishes in 10th position, who receives 1 point. The polesitter and the driver who records the fastest single lap also receive points. At the end of the season, the driver with the most points wins the World Drivers' Championship, while the team with the most points between its 2 drivers wins the World Constructors' Championship.
Singapore is known for high temperatures and humidity, so dress carefully! Light, loose clothing is recommended, along with comfortable shoes for walking around the circuit. Bring sunglasses and a hat to protect yourself from the sun, and watch out for afternoon storms.

Food stalls are set up around the circuit, offering delicious plates including noodles, curries, and satays. Burgers, fries, hot dogs, nachos, and kebabs are also typically available. Fans can purchase a wide range of drinks, from wine and cocktails to soft drinks. There are also small supermarkets within the venue.
Food and drink cannot be brought into the circuit, but there is an excellent variety of restaurants and stalls just outside the venue if you would rather satisfy your appetite away from the track.
The circuit features 10 access gates, and each gate offers an express lane for anyone who does not have a bag.
Fans bringing bags to the venue must have their bags examined at the gates.
Toilets are located all around the circuit. Most are portable, but they are kept clean and queuing is generally very minimal.
