Following the conclusion of Roland-Garros (French Open) on Sunday, and the crowning of Rafael Nadal and Iga Świątek as singles champions, we are now officially half-way through the 2022 tennis calendar. The grass court season is fast approaching, and just 2 Grand Slams remain, but that doesn’t mean there’s any shortage of excitement to still be had; tennis fans have their favourite tournaments circled in their diaries, and children all over the world are asking “how many sleeps until the Plava Laguna Croatia Open Umag?” With so much still to come, then, it’s sometimes hard to pick just one event to focus on, but as one of the biggest tournaments in the world, the US Open is a great place to start — and single session tickets are now on sale!
The US Open Grand Slam has taken place since the late 19th century. After moving around several towns and cities it finally settled in New York in 1915, and since 1978 has been played at the US Tennis Association’s Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, in Flushing Meadows. The 2022 tournament will take place between Monday 29 August and Sunday 11 September, with single session tickets available across all tournament days.
Tickets are available on the 3 main show courts – Arthur Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium, and Grandstand court – and grounds passes are also on sale. Single session tickets on Arthur Ashe Stadium, the tournament’s de facto centre court, start from USD $37 including fees, in the Promenade seating category. On Louis Armstrong Stadium, single session prices start from $48, including fees, in the Loge Reserved section, whilst on Grandstand court fans can pick up a day ticket for $126.41 including fees. Grounds Admission day passes, meanwhile, start at $55, including fees.
For fans who want to enjoy as much US Open action as possible, multi-session tickets are also on sale across Arthur Ashe Stadium and Louis Armstrong Stadium, whilst those on the hunt for something a bit fancy can still pick-up a premium hospitality ticket, after they went on sale back in January.
