The 5 Étoiles de Pau – also known as Étoiles de Pau or Stars of Pau – is a 3-day event in the sport of equestrian and is held annually in the Domaine de Sers in Pau, in the South of France, near the Pyrénées mountains. This event is held over 4 days.
It is one of only 7 annual Concours Complet International (CCI) 5-star events in the world (the highest level of competition) as classified by the Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) and the only one held in France. The 6 other CCI 5 Stars are the Burghley Horse Trials, the Badminton Horse Trials, the Kentucky 3-Day Event, the Maryland 5 Star, the Australian International 3-Day Event, and the Luhmühlen Horse Trials.
5 Étoiles de Pau Tickets
Admission on Thursday (dressage) is free and you do not need to be in possession of a ticket for this day.
On Friday (dressage) and Saturday (cross-country), only Standing Entry (General Admission) tickets are available. On Sunday (showjumping & driven cross-country), you can purchase Standing Entry, Covered Seating, or Uncovered Seating.
There are also multi-day passes to cover just the weekend (Saturday & Sunday) or all 3 days (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday) at 3 levels: Gold (includes Covered Seating in the grandstand); Silver (includes Uncovered Seating in the grandstand); and Bronze (Standing Entry).
