ποΈ Address:Β Las Vegas Strip Circuit, Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89109, United States Directions in Google Maps
The circuit uses public streets in Las Vegas, so it does not have its own designated parking lots. Most of the resorts and hotels in the area offer parking facilities for their guests, so visitors staying in these locations will probably find it easiest to park at their accommodation and then walk to their circuit zone entrance.
Many resorts are located within the circuit area. As normal traffic will be closed off from 17:00 on each day of the Grand Prix, visitors needing to access the resorts within the circuit must show proof of reservation (room, restaurant, or show) in order to enter.
You can find recommendations for free and paid parking areas on the Vegas.com parking guide.
During the Grand Prix, the designated pick-up and drop-off points for rideshare services are located at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and the Hughes Center.
Traditional taxi services are also available, but must be booked because taxis are not allowed to be hailed from the street. A list of registered taxi companies and example fares can be found on the Vegas.com taxi guide.
Journeys are likely to take longer than normal during the weekend as traffic patterns will be disrupted and the roads will be busy.
Please also be aware that rideshare services will likely be operating at surge pricing during peak periods and taxi services may be applying a surcharge over the Grand Prix weekend.
The Deuce on the Strip provides a 24 hour bus service between the Fremont Street Experience on Las Vegas Blvd. and the South Strip Transit Terminal, stopping at many of the hotels and attractions on the Strip. Buses typically run every 10-15 minutes, but this schedule may change during the Grand Prix.
The Downtown Loop is a free shuttle service that stops near major Las Vegas attractions and operates between 11:00-18:00 on Thursday and 15:00-22:00 on Friday and Saturday.
Buses may also have to alter their routes to accommodate evening road closures, so passengers should check the most recent information from the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) before travel.
The Las Vegas Monorail is a fun and useful way to get around near the Strip. The service includes 7 stations on the east side of the Strip, with trains running every 4-12 minutes and single fares costing USD $5. The monorail operates during the following hours:
You can find out more on the Las Vegas Monorail website.
There are 3 tram services operating around the city, all free-of-charge:
The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) runs a bike share scheme, where riders can pick-up traditional and electric bikes from a bike share station and return them to another station near your destination. Cyclists will need to be conscious of road closures and busy crowds, but cycling is an environmentally way to move around the outer areas of the circuit.
The event organisers recommend that visitors walk to the circuit if they are staying or parking at one of the nearby hotels. The official Las Vegas Grand Prix app suggests the best walking routes based on starting location and ticketing zone.
