Las Vegas, a.k.a Sin City, is the place people go to risk it all for a chance at the high life, one black jack table at a time. With neon lights, designer shops, luxe penthouse suites, fast cars, and casino after casino, it’s easy to see how the city of temptations got its nickname. However, there’s so much more to Vegas than the chips on your table; from rollercoasters to recreated worlds, the city is truly like a Disneyland for adults. Start your day in Ancient Rome at Caesars Palace, then head for lunch in Egypt at the Luxor before sailing along the romantic canals during sunset at The Venetian. Vegas’ lineup of hotels may be impressive, but not as impressive as its lineup of weekly entertainment. Its stages are graced by some of the world’s biggest pop stars, theatre companies, dancers, and comedians every night of the week.
As a popular tourist destination, Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport (LAS) offers direct flights to and from most US cities, as well as international destinations including London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Zurich, Tel Aviv, and Seoul. The airport is located 11 km south of Downtown Vegas, which can be reached in around 30 minutes by taking the 108 bus to EB Bonneville after 4th. The airport is only 5 km east of the Vegas Strip, which can be reached in 20-40 minutes by taking the 109 bus to your chosen hotel.
Las Vegas is usually mild in November, with highs of 16°C and an average temperature of 12°C. The climate tends to be very dry, with an average 9% chance of rain each day.
