M1 Park & Ride is an external parking area located within proximity to the M1 motorway, where you can park your vehicle and then take one of the inclusive shuttle buses directly to the circuit in the morning and back at the end of the day.
Park & Ride is a lower cost option than Circuit parking, and can also reduce the amount of time spent in traffic congestion that is common in the areas directly around the circuit. Visitors may be assigned to one of multiple sites near the M1. Silverstone will confirm the assigned Park & Ride site and its location directly to customers who have booked, shortly before the event. Common site in previous years has been Sixfields Stadium in Northampton and Towcester Racecourse, but this is subject to change.
The shuttle buses drop-off and pick-up just a couple of minutes walk from Silverstone's main entrance on the Luffield/Abbey side of the circuit. Buses operate on a first-come, first-served basis and run throughout the day. The 2024 running times were as follows:
It is not permitted to leave your vehicle in the car park overnight.
Disabled parking spaces are available and some buses are wheelchair accessible. Please contact Silverstone to discuss any accessibility requirements prior to booking.
Park & Ride must be pre-booked, but parking spaces are unreserved and are filled based on time-of-arrival. Park and Ride is charged per person, not per vehicle.
