Epsom Downs Racecourse is a few minutes' drive from the town centre of Epsom on B290 (Epsom Downs Road) or just off the M25 junction 9. When racing is on at the course, AA signs mark all major approach routes.
Epsom can also be accessed by rail and bus and has great connections to the centre of London which is just 25 km away.

There is plenty of available on-site car parking for all events held at Epsom Downs Racecourse. On racedays, car parking is available at a number of on-site car parks - ones in use can change per raceday but will be clearly signposted - and is complimentary.
For electric car users, there are 2 fast charge Polar points located in the main car park (not available on racedays).
Parking for guests with disabilities can be found in Car Park 20 close to the entrance to the racecourse. Please show your blue badge to the parking stewards and you will be directed to the correct area. On racedays, car parks are located on grass; you will be directed to suitable parking bays.

Epsom Downs Racecourse can be reached via several railway stations served by South Western Railway and Southern Railway.

Epsom is about 25 km from the centre of London and has great travel connections into the city, so racegoers can benefit from the broad range of accommodation options in the capital while being able to easily access the racecourse. For those wanting to stay closer to the venue, Epsom and the surrounding areas offer great accommodation options, but please bear in mind that these will book up quickly during the larger fixtures.
There is a wide range of catering facilities including food service and bars. With fast food outlets outside the Duchess’s Stand and the Blue Riband Bar & Kitchen walk-in restaurant located in the Queen Elizabeth II Stand, there is a great range for visitors. Please note that all restaurants at the racecourse need to be pre-booked.
Racegoers in the Family Enclosure, on the Hill, and in the Upper Tattenham and Lonsdale enclosures can bring their own picnics. Racegoers in the Duchess’s Stand and the Queen Elizabeth II Stand are not permitted to bring their own drinks, food, or picnic into the enclosures. Please be advised that barbecues and bonfires are strictly forbidden in all parts of the racecourse.

The nearest bike racks and storage areas are at Epsom Downs Station and in the centre of Epsom.
Epsom offers a selection of shops and eateries and is a 2.7 km (32 min) walk from the racecourse. Although it is smaller, Tattenham Corner is closer (a 1.1 km (13 min) walk from the racecourse) and, like Epsom, offers some pubs and eateries as well as access to trainlines into more populous areas offering more choice.
Epsom Downs Racecourse has 3 main entrance points. Main access is through the Entrance Pavilion where tickets can also be collected.
Please note that on all racedays other than The Derby Festival, stands are open as one enclosure. This means racegoers are free to move between both the Queen Elizabeth II Stand and the Grandstand.
There are several emergency exits located throughout the course.
Toilet facilities are located throughout the racecourse and in each enclosure or stand. The Duchess's Stand has toilet facilities at either end of the stand, the Queen Elizabeth II Stand has toilet facilities on the Parade Ring side of the stand, and there are also extra facilities in the Entrance Pavilion at the Ticket Collection Point.

Epsom Downs Racecourse ticket prices vary depending on a number of factors including the event, the enclosure the ticket is for, and the seller. For example, tickets for the most premium enclosure, the Queen Elizabeth II Stand offering greater access around the course will be more expensive than those for the Lonsdale Enclosure. Similarly, Queen Elizabeth II tickets may be more expensive during the Derby Festival than at one of the smaller fixtures.
