Love the venue. However, it would be helpful if there were more free water stations or at least allow us to bring unopened water bottles or bottles to refill.
The current policies for audience engagement at this event are deeply disappointing and counterproductive. Requiring spectators to remain an excessive distance from the golfers undermines the very essence of attending a live golf event—connecting with the game and its players. Moreover, prohibiting small cameras is baffling in today’s world, where capturing memorable moments is part of the experience. Most concerning, however, is the ban on personal water bottles. This policy not only feels inconsiderate but also shows a lack of regard for basic audience comfort and well-being.
I strongly urge the organizers to take notes from the Hoakalei LPGA event, which has set a benchmark for being genuinely audience-friendly. Their thoughtful approach fosters a welcoming and enjoyable experience, treating attendees as valued participants rather than an afterthought.
Unless these restrictive and unfriendly policies are revisited, I cannot, in good faith, recommend anyone purchase tickets to this event. Audience satisfaction is the backbone of any successful event, and failing to address these issues risks alienating loyal fans. It’s time to prioritize your attendees and create an experience worthy of their support.
Reason did not attend (first time in 14 years) was because the 2024 venue had practically zero capability for handicap or limited handicap to move around course. I was able a couple of times to catch a ride with a very nice volunteer w/cart to go out to 2 and 8, and another time to go up to the 10/14 tee area. It was very difficult getting back from those areas to the club house area and bus lot area.
Venue management advertised there was handicaped capability, but they lied. Didn't want to take chance and be very limited to just access to clubhouse area.
Extremely well organized and directions were clear.
Great experience! Suggest adding more chairs onto Hole 14 green and 18 green.
Location and shuttle bus were excellent, plenty of toilets and seating area and food stalls
Very scenic course and easy to move around. Plenty of opportunities to view players, good facilities and hospitality areas. Plenty of well organised car parking on the boundary. All this made our day watching golf very relaxed and enjoyable.
Everybody friendly and I felt a very warm welcome and very good fews. I‘ll be back. Thank you all😊
A great place to hold the Scottish open as access is good and the course big enough to absorb the spectators without it feeling rammed. Food outlets ok but more coffee stands required.
Absolutely fantastic day, really well organised, fantastic golf course with some amazing views.
The event was very well organised and the personal very obliging. The course layout worked well and hardly any congestion. Only negative limited waste bins apart from the eating areas.
Well organised tournament on the whole. Weather not as good as one would expect for July!! Good structure and food support for fans. Able to move around the course easily. Only gripe was someone took the car park boards designed to help you find your car down early, before we'd found our car. Doh.
This is my second time at the event. Had a great time, but $5.50 for a bottle of water??? Ridiculous!
Nice venue. The 1904 Club was great. Prices on food and beverages were ridiculous as usual.
Parking and Shuttle Bus was a nightmare. Never again.
My son wants to be a golfer
It was very warm and not much shade as so much of the area was roped off where the shade was. We had general admission for the week. The stands that we could use were not covered anywhere. It is a beautiful area but I do not think we will return as we are older
What a great tournament this is my fourth time attending.
Golf coarse, facilities, volunteers, and viewing areas were all first rate. The ease of entering the event was the best ever. Absolutely one of the best PGA events ever attended.
Wish there weren’t so many golf carts zooming around.
Well run tournament, lots of nice, and helpful volunteers, beautiful venue, . Enjoyed our days at the tournament.
