Miami Dolphins History
With a rich history that includes 2 Super Bowl championships, the Dolphins are one of the NFL's most iconic franchises. Famous for their success under Don Shula in the 1970s, the Dolphins became the only NFL team to record a perfect season in 1972/73, when they won every game on their way to their first Super Bowl title.
Easily recognisable on the field, the Dolphins' uniform features vibrant shades of aqua and orange, inspired by Florida's extensive shorelines and stunning sunsets. Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino and fullback Larry Csonka are some of the most famous former players associated with the franchise.
