The Buffalo Bills are a professional American football team based in Buffalo, New York. They compete in the NFL's AFC East division, and play their home games at Highmark Stadium, just south of Buffalo in Orchard Park.
Buffalo Bills History
The Buffalo Bills joined the NFL following the merger between the NFL and American Football League (AFL) in 1970. The Bills' most sustained period of success occurred between 1990–1993, when they appeared in 4 consecutive Super Bowls, an accomplishment overshadowed by the fact that they lost each game.
Between 2000–2016, the Bills endured the longest playoff drought in all 4 major North American sports leagues, and were the last NFL franchise to make the postseason in the 21st century. The Bills returned to consistent postseason contention in the late 2010s, with dual-threat quarterback Josh Allen now hoping to lead the team to their first Super Bowl title.
