Cesarewitch Trial Day is a flat racing event for thoroughbred racehorses at Newmarket’s Rowley Mile course.
Along with the Cambridgeshire Meeting, Sun Chariot Day, and Dubai Future Champions Festival – as well as the auctioning of promising young horses at Tattersalls – this meeting is part of Newmarket’s 4-week Gold Season, encompassing the autumn highlights when the area confirms its place as the hub of international horse racing.
There will be an exciting 7 races including the Cesarewitch Trial, which is a warm-up for the Cesarewitch Heritage Handicap which takes place at the Future Champions Festival and is the second leg of the historic Autumn Double (the first being the Cambridgeshire Handicap at the Cambridgeshire Meeting). Off the track, there's an exciting Henry Cecil Open Weekend from Saturday to Sunday where you have a fantastic opportunity to see behind the scenes at the yards and gallops.
Cesarewitch Trial Day Tickets
The Rowley Mile is divided into several enclosures with varying dress code restrictions, access levels, and ticket price brackets. Racegoers purchase a ticket for a full day of racing with access to one of the following:
- Premier Enclosure - access to all aspects of raceday, brilliant views of the racing, and a fantastic selection of eateries and bars. Racegoers can view the horses in the Pre-Parade Ring and see the victors in the Winners’ Enclosure. Racegoers can also access the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure
- Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure - offers racegoers the chance to see the horses in the Parade Ring and then watch the race in a relaxed atmosphere from the stands without the stricter dress code of the Premier Enclosure
Subject to availability, tickets can be upgraded on the day.
