The British Motorcycle Grand Prix has a long history of competition, with the first edition dating back to 1977. The event began at the iconic Silverstone Circuit and returned again in 2010, following more than 20 years at Donington Park in Leicestershire. Valentino Rossi boasts the record for most wins at the British race, with 8 to his name.
