Having made it to the National Hockey League (NHL) Stanley Cup Finals in 2020, the Stars have a solid recent record in the league. In the summer of 2022, they acquired several players such as Mason Marchment, Colin Miller, and Riley Barber, and they hired Peter DeBoer as a new head coach. Already this season, they have made some exciting last-minute comebacks – as they did against the Arizona Coyotes in November – which has helped their impressive position in the upper echelons of the Central Division.
