There are multiple fast and convenient ways to get to the American Airlines Center. Visitors can access the venue via car, taxi, bus, or train.

Over 5,000 parking spaces are available for American Airlines Center guests. The majority of these parking spaces are conveniently located within two blocks of American Airlines Center. In addition, there are over 3,000 parking spaces to the South and East of American Airlines Center within easy walking distance.

Parking spaces for disabled guests are located in Lot E and Lexus Garage with a pre-paid parking pass or with cash on a first-come, first-served basis. The vehicle must display a disabled parking placard or license plate. Parking rates in these areas vary, depending on the event and parking area.
As the largest city, Dallas is generally the most expensive in the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington area. However, it’s possible to find accommodation to suit any budget in all 3 cities.
American Airlines Center offers a wide variety of food and beverages throughout the facility. Guests are not permitted to bring any food or beverages into the American Airlines Center. Containers such as bottles, cans, thermos bottles, or plastic coolers are not permitted for the safety and protection of guests.
The concession stands and restaurants in the building have been designed with all guests in mind. Accessible countertops and bar counters are at a height that is comfortable for everyone.
Doors generally open to the public 90 minutes before the start of the event. Re-entry is not allowed. Main Entrances are available to all ticketed guests, and are in the following locations:
VIP Entrances are available exclusively to Private Suite and Premier Seat ticket holders and are in the following locations:
Wristlets, clutch bags, or wallets sized 4.5'' x 6.5'' are allowed at all entrances. Purses no larger than 14'' x 14'' x 6'' will be allowed at designated X-ray entry points. No backpack or large totes allowed. Medical bags and parenting bags are also permitted. All permitted bags are subject to security inspection.
American Airlines Center offers a drop-off and pick-up area at PNC Plaza. Limousines, buses, and cars will be allowed to drop off and pick up in this area, but vehicles are not permitted to park there. Guests needing to call a taxi may go to Guest Relations for assistance.
Guests arriving or awaiting the arrival of their Uber and other ride-share are encouraged to utilize our two designated Uber Pick-up/Drop-off Areas located on All-Star Way and Nowitzki Way.
Drop-off and pick-up for all non-buses and non-limos are on All-Star Way.
DART Bus Route 49 provides service to the American Airlines Center. Take route 49 and ride to the Houston @ Payne bus stop, which is a 200 m (2 min) walk to the venue.
For all events, take the TRE (Trinity Railway Express) to Victory Station, which is a 250 m (3 min) walk to the American Airlines Center.
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) currently provides regular service to Victory Station at American Airlines Center via the Green Line and Orange Line. Both Lines operate regular service to Victory Station 7 days a week.
The American Airlines Center is just 1.8 km (22 min) walk from downtown Dallas and there is plenty to see and do within walking distance including the Dallas World Aquarium (a 1.1 km (13 min) walk), the House of Blues Dallas (a 750 m (9 min) walk), the Museum of Illusions (a 1.2 km (14 min) walk), and the Dallas Museum of Art (a 1.2 km (14 min) walk).
Restrooms are located throughout American Airlines Center for your convenience. All restrooms meet or exceed ADA specifications. Men’s, Women’s, and Gender Neutral Family restrooms are located in the corners of every concourse next to all public restrooms throughout the arena on all levels. Baby change facilities are located in all public restrooms.
As the home venue for both the NBA's Dallas Mavericks and the NHL's Dallas Stars, the venue primarily holds elite-level basketball and ice hockey games. It also often hosts wrestling and mixed martial arts events.
Ticket prices for events at American Airlines Center can vary depending on several factors such as the teams or players competing, the ticket type, and the ticket seller. In the last 12 months, we have seen tickets as low as USD $16 for certain events at the arena. You can buy tickets at the arena's box office which is located on North Houston Street across from the Lexus Garage and is open on Thursdays from 10:00-17:00, and on event days from 10:00. It is generally more convenient to purchase tickets online as you can compare ticket types and prices and secure yourself the right ticket for you before arriving at the arena.

Doors generally open to the public 90 minutes before the start of the event at American Airlines Center. For some events, you can find the gate/door opening time on Koobit by viewing the event’s Schedule tab. Timings should also be confirmed on your tickets when you receive them.
