Ask someone what comes to mind when they think of Dallas, and they might ask “who shot J.R.?” Ask a sports fan and they might mention the Cowboys, the Mavericks, or the Wings. Whoever you talk to though, you’re unlikely to get a reply that involves tennis. The Dallas Open, however, is a hidden gem - the newest North American event on the ATP tour, and one of the most exciting.

First held in 2022, the Dallas Open is an ATP 250 event which has already showcased one elite field of male professionals, and is already set to host another, between 4-12 February 2023. Grand Slam quarterfinalist and top-10 star Taylor Fritz, Texas resident John Isner, and reigning champion Reilly Opelka have all signed-up, as has Canadian ace Denis Shapovalov. Fans in Dallas will be treated to some top-class tennis even before the ATP field starts competing, though, as WTA stars Venus Williams and Danielle Collins will kick-off proceedings with an all-American exhibition match on the opening day of the event.
Tennis fans can reserve a seat for a single session, for the finals weekend, or all tournament long. Single session tickets start from USD $48.99, weekend tickets from $495, and weeklong tickets from $1,085. Hospitality packages can also be purchased on request.
