NHL Awards
The NHL Awards takes place on Monday 26 June at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee; a venue that is the home of the Nashville Predators. Forget about the Oscars: the annual end-of-season NHL awards party is the place to be! The best-performing players, coaches, and all those who enhance the hockey community will be honoured for their achievements in the 2022-23 season. You can enjoy a night of glitz, glamour, and gummy grins for just USD $65.50 (including fees).
Some of the trophies being awarded on the night include:
- Hart Memorial Trophy – for the “most valuable player to his team”
- Lady Byng Memorial Trophy – for the player best exemplifying sportsmanship and ability
- Vezina Trophy – for the best goaltender
- Calder Memorial Trophy – for the most outstanding rookie player
- James Norris Memorial Trophy – for the greatest all-round defenseman
- Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy – for the player who best exemplifies sportsmanship and perseverance
- Ted Lindsay Award – for the outstanding player voted for by NHL Players Association members
- Jack Adams Award – for the best coach
- Frank Selke Trophy – for the player with the best defensive skills
- King Clancy Memorial Trophy – for the player with great leadership qualities on and off the ice and one who has made a humanitarian contribution
- Mark Messier NHL Leadership Award – for the player best exemplifying leadership skills
- E. J. McGuire Award of Excellence – for the draft prospect best exemplifying strength of character and competitiveness
Considering the highs of the season – including the Boston Bruins' record-breaking campaign – the NHL Awards is sure to be handing out some very well-deserved trophies.
NHL Draft
The NHL Draft sees the league start its next chapter and takes place from Wednesday 28 to Thursday 29 June also at Bridgestone Arena. It is the annual event in which each NHL franchise systemically selects the rights to available players. Round 1 is held on Wednesday and rounds 2-7 are held on Thursday. Tickets can be purchased to cover a single day or both days for those who don’t want to miss their team making a key pick! Official tickets start at just $15 (including fees).
