The Canadiens have strong rivalries with all of the other "Original 6" teams, but there are 2 in particular that they hold the fiercest with. Their rivalry with the Toronto Maple Leafs is the oldest in the league as they have faced each other in 5 Stanley Cup Finals and they have the 2 largest fanbases in Canada. The Canadiens also have a fierce rivalry with the Boston Bruins who have played the Canadiens more than any other team.
The Montreal Canadiens - officially le Club de hockey Canadien and colloquially known as the Habs (short for "Les Habitants" aka early farmers in Quebec) - are a professional ice hockey team based in Montreal, Canada. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. Their home venue is Centre Bell in Montreal, and their mascot is Youppi who was originally the mascot for the baseball side, the Montreal Expos.
The Canadiens were established in the early 1900s and are the longest-continuously-running professional ice hockey franchise in the world. They also hold the unique title of being the only current NHL club to predate the founding of the league itself. Due to this longevity, the franchise is recognised as one of the "Original 6" teams in the NHL along with the Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers, and Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Canadiens have won the Stanley Cup more times than any other franchise, having been victorious in 24 championships. They are one of the most successful teams in any of the 4 main North American sports of hockey, basketball (NBA), baseball (MLB), and American football (NFL).
The home venue of Montreal Canadiens is Centre Bell in Montreal. Away games will usually be played at the rival team's home venue.
Tickets for the Montreal Canadiens regular season games normally go on sale when the NHL schedule is released in July or August. If the Canadiens progress to the NHL playoffs, tickets will be made available soon after the end of the regular season, however, in some cases, tickets may be sold in advance of this. Please note that during the NHL playoffs, best-of-7 series are played and tickets may be sold for a game that is subsequently not played: in this case, customers will be entitled to a refund from the provider.
NHL preseason tickets can be purchased when the fixtures are decided.

Great arena once your there but we had a nightmare with getting there. Staff don't seem to know where the rideshare dropoff and pickup are and they all say different things. Such a headache and worth just getting there a different way just not that easy. Took half an hour to get anywhere near the arena
Great venue but staff not amazing. we couldn't find where we needed to go and the girl at the information desk was a little confused too. eventually worked it out and enjoyed the game. massive arena great atmosphere. didnt try any food but there seemed to be lots of choices
good arena but so big means really busy and a bit chaotic. just means everything feels a bit stressful but atmosphere is buzzing which is fun. stores and concessions are great but a little expensive. i guess to be expected. views good from seats we were on the upper level
As a Habs fan I guess I am biased but there is so much to see at the arena with history and statues. Seats are amazing and the steep seats make the atmosphere incredible. Always had nice food there too and there's plenty of options
