The World Champions Cup is an annual men's international team golf event on the PGA Tour Champions schedule. It serves as a senior counterpart to the Ryder Cup or the Presidents Cup, effectively combining both events to become a 3-way tournament contested by the United States, Europe, and an International team representing the rest of the world.
The 3 teams of 6 – comprised of a selection of the PGA Tour Champions' best, from major champions to Golf Hall of Famers – face off over 3 days of competition, receiving 2 points for each hole won and 1 point for each hole in which they finish 2nd. At the end of the competition, the team with the most points are crowned the champions.
The inaugural event was held in 2023 at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida. Team USA narrowly triumphed with 221 points to Team International's 219, while Team Europe finished 3rd with 208.
It was due to be held again in 2024, but the tournament was pushed back to 2025 after Hurricanes Helene and Milton hit the Florida gulf coast in the months prior.
