Audi Field is approximately 5.5 km southeast of downtown Washington DC. It has multiple public transport links so it is readily accessible via a number of methods, while some parking in the vicinity is also available.
Below you can find general information on travel and parking for Audi Field. Individual events may have additional/restricted services available, and so we recommend clicking through to the event and viewing the Travel & Parking tab for event-specific information.

You may also wish to consider parking at Anacostia Metrorail Station, which is a 2.0 km (24 min) walk from the venue or travel one stop to Navy Yard-Ballpark Station, which is 900 m (11 min) walk from the stadium.
Spectators arriving via taxi and rideshare services will be dropped off and picked up on Potomac Ave by Nationals Park, approximately 250 m (3 min) from the stadium. Please note, pick-ups will not be allowed on South Capitol St.
Audi Field can be reached on public bus route 74. Get off at 2nd St SW & R St SW stop, which is 50 m (1 min) walk to the stadium.
Fans with disabilities or special needs may also utilise the free dedicated shuttle that runs to and from the stadium and 55 M Street SE on DC United matchdays. This service runs every 15-30 minutes from 2 hours prior to kick-off until 1 hour after the final whistle, leaving the stadium from the Audi Field Club Shop.

As the capital of the USA, and the epicentre of law and business, Washington DC is an understandably expensive city to visit. Discerning travellers will delight in choosing from its vast selection of ultra-luxury hotels, while budget travellers may find themselves with a slightly overpriced, yet very well appointed hostel.
Audi Field has several main entrances – all of which are ADA accessible – which typically open 90 minutes prior to kick-off:
Disabled spectators entering via Gate C should make use of the ramp located on R St. SW near the Club Shop.
All guests must pass through metal detection to enter the stadium. If you do not wish to walk through a metal detector, you will have the option of being checked with a handheld metal detector.
Bags will also be searched, and guests will be denied entry into the venue if they do not permit this.
Prior to walking through, metal detectors all fans should place phones and key rings into the bowls provided or place them into their own bag, which will still be subject to search.

Toilets are located throughout the stadium at all levels. All men's and women's toilets at Audi Field are accessible and equipped with baby changing stations. Family restrooms can be found in Sections 103, 114, 123, and 131.

Spectators arriving via the Manassas Line or Fredericksburg Line may wish to disembark at L'Enfant station, which is 2.4 km (29 min) walk from Audi Field.
The Potomac Riverboat Company run a boat service to and from Audi Field on math days launching from Alexandria Marina and National Harbor to Diamond Teague Park, which is a 650 m (8 min) walk. Tickets cost $20 one-way and $25 roundtrip.
The Audi Field Bike Valet will be free to any fans who wish to store their bike during the match. The valet is at the southwest corner of the stadium at the intersection of 2nd and T St. The valet opens when gates open and will remain open at least one hour after the end of a match. Audi Field will also feature several docks for Lime bikes and e-scooters, along with several bike rack locations on the grounds.

Guests with a need for medical supplies, allergy exceptions, or other medical items should contact DC United Customer Service prior to the match for accommodations. Guests who arrive on matchday with specific medical needs should speak with the Guest Experience Supervisor at the gate.
Audi Field provides2 elevators at the premium lobby for guests with disabilities, mobility challenges, or guests with small children. These elevators service the east stands, including premium areas. There is also an elevator located in the Heineken MVP Club, which services Suites 27-31 and the rooftop bar.
Service animals or service animals in-training, for guests with disabilities, are welcome at Audi Field. All other animals are prohibited.
A wheelchair escort service is provided by the Guest Experience team.
Guests should see a DC United Guest Experience representative upon entering the stadium. Transportation back to the gate entrance following the game is available upon request at that time, or by visiting the Fan Assistance booth on the concourse behind Section F1.
