About Valley Children's Stadium

Valley Children's Stadium is an outdoor American football stadium located in Fresno, California, on the campus of California State University, Fresno. The venue is the home ground of the Fresno State Bulldogs college football team.

📜 History

The venue opened in 1980 under the name Bulldog Stadium, with an original capacity of 30,000. An expansion project was completed in 1991, bringing the capacity over 40,000.

In 2022, following a naming rights deal with local children's hospital Valley Children's Healthcare, the name of the stadium was officially changed.

As well as hosting all Fresno State Bulldogs home games, the venue was used for the California Bowl from 1981 to 1991.
