The Bulldogs are the football team of California State University, Fresno. They compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the NCAA and play in the Mountain West Conference.
Fresno State play their home games at Valley Children's Stadium.
📜 Fresno State Bulldogs Football History
Fresno State has fielded a football team since 1921, originally competing as an independent college. In 1922, the team joined the California Coast Conference, before moving again in 1925 to the Far Western Conference. The Bulldogs remained there for 15 years, but eventually left for the California Collegiate Athletic Association. After later spells in the Big West Conference and the Western Athletic Conference, Fresno State joined the Mountain West Conference in 2012.
