The Strade Bianche is an endurance road cycling race held annually on the first or second Saturday of March starting and finishing in Siena in Tuscany, Italy.
First held in 2007, the name Strade Bianche (Italian for White Roads) stems from the historic white gravel roads in the Crete Senesi, on which the action takes place. Despite its short history, the Strade Bianche has quickly gained interest and prestige, becoming part of the UCI World Tour, cycling's highest level of professional road races.
Strade Bianche Tickets
The race takes place over public roads and so no entry ticket is required to watch the cyclists; simply choose your spot along the route and get there in plenty of time before road closures to cheer them on. Hospitality tickets are available at certain parts of the day's route.
As the Strade Bianche Donne women's race is on the same day, you can take advantage and see both races!
