Royal Ascot is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the racing calendar anywhere in the world. It consists of 5 thrilling days of top-class racing action as well as plenty of fantastic entertainment off the track. Day 1 has 3 Group 1 races: The Queen Anne Stakes, King’s Stand Stakes, and St James’s Palace Stakes. Day 2 has 3 Group 2 races: The Queen Mary Stakes, The Queen’s Vase, and The Duke of Cambridge Stakes. Day 3 is recognised as Ladies Day - where racegoers of all genders are welcome and encouraged to dress to impress - and features the Gold Cup. Day 4 features 2 Group 1 races, with the best 3-year-old fillies competing in the Coronation Stakes and exciting young sprinters contesting the Commonwealth Cup. On the final day, the impressive £1m Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Stakes is run.
At 14:00 each day, members of the Royal Family arrive in a royal procession down the iconic track.
