The Philadelphia Eagles are a professional American football team based in Philadelphia. The Eagles compete in the NFL's NFC East division, and play their home games at Lincoln Financial Field.
Philadelphia Eagles History
Established in 1933, the Eagles have experienced various periods of success and challenge throughout their history, but have always been backed by a passionate fanbase. After Super Bowl losses in 1981 and 2005, the team won their first Vince Lombardi Trophy in 2018 with the help of backup quarterback Nick Foles. Today, Foles and winning coach Doug Pederson boast their very own statue outside Lincoln Financial Field in celebration of their role in the Super Bowl achievement.
The Eagles returned to the Super Bowl in 2023, their fourth visit in total, but were defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs. Clad in their famous green, silver, and black uniforms, the franchise now go in search of their second Lombardi Trophy, with stars like AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts tasked with bringing more glory back to Philly.
