Although Hamilton isn’t one of New Zealand’s biggest or most-visited cities, it is one of the most expensive, beating Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington in world rankings. So while there are budget hotels and hostels available, don’t expect them to fit a shoestring budget. On the flipside of the coin, the city doesn’t offer many luxury hotels either as it’s not a very touristy city.
Accessibility
Entry to the Globox Arena is via the ground floor. There are lifts located within the main foyer and off the conference concourse.
Toilets
Disabled-accessible toilets can be found on the lower and upper concourses, the lower conference concourse, and adjacent to the Brooklyn Rooms small meeting spaces (upper floor).
Hearing loops
The Arena is equipped with a hearing aid loop. Contact the venue before your arrive - ideally at time of booking - for more information.
Claudelands Arena has a capacity of approximately 4,000. However, the capacity does differ between events depending on the seating configuration.
