Parking is free at The Curragh and the main car park is located opposite the Curragh reception. You will be directed when you arrive at the course.

The Curragh Racecourse can be reached via the Dublin to Cork line. Alight at either Kildare or Newbridge station and take the complimentary shuttle bus service to the venue.
The Curragh is in a rural area, so using a car or public transport is advised for reaching nearby amenities. Newbridge is a 2.9 km (35 min) walk from the racecourse where you will find a small selection of shops and eateries.

As the home of all 5 Irish Flat Classics - the Irish 1,000 Guineas, the Irish 2,000 Guineas, the Irish Derby, the Irish Oaks, and the Irish St. Leger - some of the course's biggest meetings are Irish Derby Weekend, Irish Oaks Weekend, and Irish Guineas Festival, as well as being the host of the second day of Irish Champions Weekend (with Leopardstown hosting the first day).
The Curragh ticket prices vary depending on a number of factors including the event, the enclosure the ticket is for, and the seller. For example, tickets for Reserved Seating offering greater access to the grandstand will be more expensive than those for General Admission. Gate opening times at The Curragh vary by event, but usually open between 1 and 2 hours before the first race. For some events, you can find the gate opening time on Koobit by viewing the event’s Schedule tab. Timings should also be confirmed on your tickets when you receive them.
