Everything was as I expected and enjoyable. I would have given five stars if there had been water available. To not have access to free water is very poor in my view
Pop music at Queens is noisy and intrusive. We had ground tickets for 19th June. We saw two double matches on Court 5 but by 3.30 there was no tennis to watch or schedules for the rest of the day (other than on centre court), reluctantly, we went home
Enjoyed the tennis. Food vendors and tables were very crowded. Merchandise in shops was very expensive.
Organisation excellent been 4 times apart from covid when tickets were transferred to year after looking to book apartment ready for next year
Attended using my power wheelchair. Good experience. Although I had a wheelchair space number these were not used on the day and I was merely slotted into an empty space near a corner of the court where obviously the other wheelchair users did not want to be. Had trouble getting onto wooden flooring power wheelchair could not get up ramp neither forwards or in reverse using the bigger wheels eventually managed to get on ramp at an angle to enable one front wheel to go on ramp followed by rest of wheelchair. Long queues for personal assistant to buy beverages.
Excellent staff, helpful, polite and charming. But why the anodyne pop music forced on everyone, when we are talking, enjoying the sunshine and taking stock? Also expensive, very ordinary catering. Could be much improved. A good day out but small changes would make it exceptional.
