Taxis are easy to find in the downtown area of Toronto and can be hailed or booked by calling a company. All taxi companies in Toronto charge the same price which consists of the base price per person (roughly CAD $4) along with $0.25 for each additional 0.17 kilometre or $0.50 a minute.

There are several restaurants - including the Scotia Club, the Hot Stove Club, and the fine dining Platinum Club - and concession stands open throughout Scotiabank Arena during events. Food should not be brought into the arena. Spectators are not permitted to bring alcohol into the arena, however, there is a great range of bars in the arena where alcoholic and soft beverages can be purchased.
Scotiabank Arena even has an in-house brewery! Rickards Brewhouse brews and serves Rickard's Red, Gold, and Pale on site.
Gates open 1 hour prior to puck-drop or tip-off for all games. Gate 2 opens 2 hours prior to puck-drop or tip-off for Suites & Restaurant access. For shorter lines and quicker access, it is best to use gates 3, 4, or 5B. Re-entry is not permitted.
Security measures will be conducted at all gates as requested by the NHL and NBA, so please allow yourself extra time for getting into the venue. The Scotiabank Arena bag policy allows soft-sided bags, purses, and briefcases smaller than 14” X 14” X 6” into the building. Permitted bags should be able to fit completely under the arena seats. All bags will be searched.
Scotiabank Arena is just a 700 m (8 min) walk from Toronto Island Ferry and the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal where you can take a ferry to Ward's Island, Centre Island, or Hanlan's Point. Toronto Island offers activities for kids, beaches, tours, bike rental, walking paths, and much more.

Scotiabank Arena is located in Harbourfront, close to notable landmarks such as the CN Tower. It is just a 500 m (6 min) walk from Old Toronto and approximately a 1.6 km (19 min) walk from Downtown, so if you're staying in those areas it can be practical to walk to the venue.
PATH is a 28 km network of underground walkways linking shopping, services, and entertainment. Follow PATH and you will easily reach Scotiabank Arena and stay out of the Toronto weather!
