Taxis are easy to find in the downtown area of Toronto and can be hailed or booked by calling a company. All taxi companies in Toronto charge the same price which consists of the base price per person (roughly CAD $4) along with $0.25 for each additional 0.17 kilometre or $0.50 a minute.
Rideshare companies like Uber and Lyft also operate in Toronto.
Scotiabank Arena can be reached via public bus lines 16, 18, 21, 31, 61, 65, 68, 71, and 90 which all stop at Union Station Bus Terminal. This stop is a 290 m (3 min) walk from the arena.
Toronto's Union Station links Scotiabank Arena with Toronto's major public transit systems. The station is a 250 m (3 min) walk from the arena.
Scotiabank Arena is just a 700 m (8 min) walk from Toronto Island Ferry and the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal where you can take a ferry to Ward's Island, Centre Island, or Hanlan's Point. Toronto Island offers activities for kids, beaches, tours, bike rental, walking paths, and much more.
Toronto's cycling community is growing and the city supports the mode of transport by maintaining and building bike lines, paths, and parking. There are bike racks available on Parking levels 1 and 2 at Scotiabank Arena to lock up your bike.
The nearby Union Station also offers a bike station complete with a changing room, vending machine, bike repair kits, and bike racks.
Scotiabank Arena is located in Harbourfront, close to notable landmarks such as the CN Tower. It is just a 500 m (6 min) walk from Old Toronto and approximately a 1.6 km (19 min) walk from Downtown, so if you're staying in those areas it can be practical to walk to the venue.
PATH is a 28 km network of underground walkways linking shopping, services, and entertainment. Follow PATH and you will easily reach Scotiabank Arena and stay out of the Toronto weather!
