• Car parking - there is free parking in the centre of the racecourse, which can be reached from the More Lane entrance. Please note that the course will be shut for approximately 10 mins before and after each race as there will be horses on the course. For £5 you can park in the main car park off Portsmouth Road. On certain racedays, parking here is also free
• Accessible parking - there are allocated disabled parking spaces in the main Portsmouth Road car park, which are free of charge to all blue badge holders. The parking is close to the main entrance and the Grandstand
• Electric charging points - for electric car users, there are 4 Polar "fast charge" points in operation in the main car park
• Coach parking - coach parking is free at Sandown Racecourse. Follow the Sandown Park signposts on all approach routes and park in the area off Portsmouth Road

There is a taxi rank at Esher Train Station which is a 1.1 km (13 min) walk from the course entrance.

Bus is a popular way to reach Sandown Park Racecourse from the surrounding areas due to its connections with multiple public routes:

• 458, 513, 715 – Sandown Park stop · a 200 m (2 min) walk
• 458, 513, 715 – Council Offices stop · a 200 m (2 min) walk
• 514, 663, 715, K3 – Esher Green stop · a 600 m (7 min) walk

On racedays, there is a complimentary minibus service between Esher Train Station and the course.

Sandown Park Racecourse can be reached via the London Waterloo to Woking line operated by South Western Railway. Alight at Esher station, which is 1.1 km (13 min) walk to racecourse via a dedicated entrance to the venue. On racedays, there is a complimentary shuttle bus service between the station and the course for those who would prefer not to walk.

Please note that the path between the station and venue crosses the course which will be shut for approximately 10 mins before and after each race as there will be horses on the course. On cold days, the track may be frosty, meaning the crossing from the train station into the centre of the course will be closed. Please leave plenty of time to arrive, as the time it takes to walk to the racecourse entrance will be increased.

Sandown Park Racecourse has a helipad for personnel attending racing only. People wishing to arrive by helicopter should please contact the venue in advance by calling 01372 464 348.

Sandown Park Racecourse is a 550 m (7 min) walk from Esher Town Centre where there is a range of shops, bars, and eateries. For a wider selection, visitors can take the train from Esher into London.
