History will be made on 1 July 2023 when Money in the Bank arrives in London, England, for the very first time. Set to take place at The O2, it will not only be the event's inaugural trip outside the US, but also the first major WWE pay-per-view (PPV) to be held in England since SummerSlam 1992.
Known for its drama and high-flying action, Money in the Bank is by far the most high-profile WWE event to be staged outside North America for decades. The event takes its name from the Money in the Bank Ladder Match – the winner of which earns a shot at a championship of their choosing. This match will take place on the night, alongside a host of other high-stakes bouts.
What to Expect at Money in the Bank
WWE events are generally organized around a "card" of matches. Taking place one after another, these matches see 2 or more wrestlers pit their strength (and their wits) against each other in an attempt to achieve victory by pinning their opponent to the ground, or making them submit. Between matches, WWE keeps fans entertained with backstage interviews, interactive segments, and surprise appearances.
As one of WWE’s “Big 5” Premium Live Events – alongside SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, & WrestleMania – Money in the Bank is often home to some of the biggest matches of the year. Expect title belts to be on the line and scores to be settled during contests throughout the night.
The annual Money in the Bank event generally features around 6–8 matches. Headlining the show will be the match the PPV is named after – the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. In this match, 6–10 participants battle against one another, with the ultimate objective being to use a ladder to retrieve a briefcase hanging 20 feet above the ring. The winner of the match earns a shot at a championship of their choosing, anytime, anywhere. Two of these ladder matches will take place at 2023's Money in the Bank PPV – one for men, and one for women. Past winners include CM Punk, Edge, Big E, The Miz, Bayley, and 2022 victors Liv Morgan and Austin Theory.

Most of the official tickets for Money in the Bank at The O2 sold out quickly, but a wide selection of tickets from resellers remain available. Tickets begin at £323. Combo tickets providing entry to both Money in the Bank and Friday Night SmackDown start at £342.
Standard Tickets
Seating at The O2 is split across 3 main levels:
- Ringside Floor (Sections A–C) – a fan favourite, ringside floor tickets bring you up close to the action with seats on the arena floor
- Lower (100 Level) – tickets in the lower sections provide close-up, slightly elevated views from the venue’s lowest tier of seating
- Upper (400 Level) – seats on the arena’s top tier are a great place to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a bird’s-eye-view of the action
How to get Cheap Tickets
WWE tickets sell out quickly, so purchasing your tickets as soon as possible is highly recommended. For those who wish to wait until nearer to the event, it is possible that some resale tickets may drop in price around a week before the PPV takes place, but this is still a risky strategy as a surge in demand could also drive ticket prices up.
Due to the popularity of this year’s history-making edition of Money in the Bank, official tickets for the event are almost sold out, however a whole host of resale tickets are still available online. While cheap tickets are difficult to come by, wrestling fans can still secure fantastic seats at this once-in-a-lifetime event. Arguably the best-value deal is for combo tickets, which provide entry not only to Money in the Bank on 1 July, but also to Friday Night SmackDown at The O2 on Friday 30 June. Some combo tickets are only marginally more costly than single-night Money in the Bank tickets, so be on the lookout for these if you want to grab a deal.
