The Smoothie King Center is located in New Orleans' Central Business District/Warehouse District Area. It is easily accessible by car due to its ample car parking facilities. Patrons may also opt to take public transportation, bike, or taxi services.

There are 7 parking garages for public parking and 2 surface lots, which can accommodate approximately 7,000 vehicles. The parking garages and surface lots are adjacent to the Superdome and the Smoothie King Center. The public parking garages are designated #1, #1A, #2, #2A, #5, #6 and Champions Garage. The surface lots are designated as Lot 3 and Lot 4.
ADA Parking is located in Lot 3 of the Smoothie King (entrance located on Girod Street under the overhang). Parking is on a first come, first serve basis. To gain access to accessible parking, proper vehicle registration is required as well as a current disabled placard with a matching identification card.
The Smoothie King Center can be reached on public bus routes 51, 52, 53-O, 57, and 202. Get off at Loyola at Girod stop, which is 650 m (8 min) walk to the venue.
The Smoothie King Center can be reached via the City of New Orleans, Crescent, and Sunset Limited Amtrak services, which all stop at Union Passenger Terminal, just a 1.0 km (12 min) walk from the venue.
It can also be reached via tramline 49; get off at stop Julia, which is 800 m (10 min) walk from the Smoothie King Center.
The Smoothie King Center is 2.4 km (29 min) walk from Canal Street Ferry Terminal.
Although New Orleans is one of the least expensive tourist cities in the US, it offers a full range of prices and styles from budget to luxury. Just be wary about visiting during Mardi Gras though, as prices will sky-rocket.
All catering is provided exclusively in-house by Centerplate, which offers an array of delicious and tasty treats, from pizza to burgers to seafood to nachos.
Outside food and beverages of any kind may not be brought into the Center.
There are 5 entrances into this venue; 3 are located on the north side of the arena off Dave Dixon Drive, while the other 2 are located on the east side off La Rouge Lane.
Re-entry is not permitted.
The Center has 19 womens restrooms, 15 mens restrooms, and three family restrooms conveniently located throughout the stadium. Disabled facilities are provided at all restrooms.

Rooms for Nursing Mothers can be found at the Smoothie King Center on the ground level across from suite 255
Bike Racks
Bike racks are available for use in Lot 3 on the wall closest to Champions Garage. Patrons can access the bike racks in Lot 3 from the pedestrian gates at the corner of Dave Dixon Drive and Le Rouge Street.
Due to its location in the Central Business District/Warehouse District area, there are many places to stay within 1.6 km (19 min) walk of this venue, so it could be very practical to arrive on foot if you're staying in the vicinity.
Service Animals
Animals are prohibited in the Smoothie King Center with the exception of service animals assisting ADA patrons.
Wheelchairs
The Center has a limited supply of wheelchairs available on a first-come, first-served basis. A government issued identification is required to check out a wheelchair. Wheelchairs may be checked out at the Guest Services Booth located on the 100 Level adjacent to section 108.
The Center does provide escort personnel for patrons using wheelchairs. Electronic wheelchair recharging is available for units with duplex outlet plugs.
Accessible Parking
ADA Parking is located in Lot 3 of the Smoothie King Center and on the ground floor of Champions Garage (entrance located on Girod Street under the overhang). First Aid
First Aid services are provided during all events at the Center and are located at sections 123 and 313.
Escalators
Escalators are located at East Ground, NE Ground, and NW Ground.
Lost and Found
For lost and found information during an event, patrons should visit the Guest Services Booth located on the 100 Level adjacent to section 108 and on the 300 Level adjacent to section 310.
Lost Children
Children who have lost their parents will be escorted to the nearest police officer, ASM Global Public Safety Officer or to the closest Guest Services Booth. The child’s name will be registered and broadcast immediately to all Guest Services Booths, police, security, and usher personnel. Parents seeking a lost child should proceed to the nearest Guest Services Booth for assistance in locating their child.
Cash
The Smoothie King Center is a cashless operation including all concessions, merchandise, and parking. Cash will not be accepted as a form of payment at any parking, retail, or concession locations within the Smoothie King Center.
Guests may convert their cash to a Visa Card by at the following Guest Service locations throughout the Arena at Sections 102 & 333.
Smoothie King Center has a capacity of approximately 18,500. However, the capacity does differ between events depending on the seating configuration.
