This event – formerly known as the Los Angeles Open – is among the PGA Tour’s most historic competitions, having been founded in 1926. After The Open, the BMW PGA Championship is the biggest men’s golf event to take place in the United Kingdom each year. Held at Wentworth Golf Club – the headquarters of the DP World Tour – it is among the Tour’s flagship events and another opportunity to see top-class players such as Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm in action. Open de France (21-24 September 2023)

If you fancy turning your trip to the golf into a continental getaway, consider the Open de France, held at Le Golf National – where Europe triumphed over the United States in the 2018 Ryder Cup –outside Paris. This event, first held in 1906, is the oldest national open in continental Europe, and in 2023 it will serve as a final warm-up ahead of the Ryder Cup! Tickets start at EUR €25.
