BMW Owners
BMW owners (those arriving in a BMW Group vehicle, i.e. a BMW, Mini, or Rolls-Royce) may park on-site for free alongside official badge holders and those with pre-paid parking. Follow event signage to BMW Owners’ car park/car park 7, no parking label is required.
Those with pre-paid parking will be issued in advance with a car park 8A label.
There is a free park and ride service in effect for all ticket holders with a free shuttle bus service – which runs continuously throughout the day every 10 minutes – ferrying you to and from the event's main entrance.
There are 2 Park & Ride locations in operation during the tournament:
The Park & Ride hours of operation are as follows:
Tue 17 September: 08:00 – 18:00 (Sunningdale only)
Wed 18 September: 06:45 – 20:00
Thu 19 September: 06:10 – 20:00
Fri 20 September: 06:10 – 20:00
Sat 21 September: 06:40 – 21:00
Sun 22 September: 06:40 – 21:00
Spectators with blue badges will find dedicated spaces at both Park & Ride facilities. Wheelchair users should email the DP World Tour directly at ticketing@europeantourgroup.com for further arrangements; blue badge parking is available in Car Park 4, but this must be pre-booked due to limited capacity.
There is no coach parking at Wentworth Golf Club. On Tuesday coaches should head to Sunningdale Park & Ride, while from Wednesday to Sunday they should head to Ascot.
VIP Parking
Spectators who have purchased premium experiences such as Green on 18, Champions Club, or Ballroom will receive an allocation in Car Park 5 (1 space per 2 guests).
These hospitality areas are approximately a 15-minute walk from the car park, although a shuttle running between the car park and the Practice Range will be in operation during the tournament rounds.
Ascot's status as an upmarket area and its proximity to Greater London means accommodation is pretty pricey — particularly during highly-anticipated horse-racing events. Of course, Ascot delivers exactly what you pay for with ultra-luxe boutique hotels and swanky Airbnbs on its menu.
Located just outside Greater London, Ascot’s primary airport is London Heathrow Airport (LHR), the most well-connected in the UK. The airport is located…
Walk through Windsor Park – once the hunting grounds for the royal family during their stays at Windsor Castle, this enchanting deer park with vast country views and pruned gardens is the perfect place for some fresh air
Taxi and rideshare drop off and collection will be off Wellington Avenue (please ask your driver to follow the yellow AA event signage). Alternatively, you could be dropped off at either of the Sunningdale and Ascot public park and ride parks and make use of the shuttles.
Wentworth Golf Club connects with multiple routes:
Virginia Water station is the closest to Wentworth Golf Club. It can be reached via the Waterloo to Reading Line and the Chertsey Branch Line, with direct trains available from the likes of London Waterloo, Clapham Junction, Reading, Woking, and Weybridge.
Virginia Water station is 2.7 km (32 min) walk from the venue, but during the BMW PGA Championship a free shuttle will run from the station to the event main entrance on a continuous loop every 10 minutes (except for Tuesday and Wednesday, which are every 30 minutes and every 15 minutes, respectively). Its hours of operation are as follows:
Tue 17 September: 08:00 – 18:00
Wed 18 September: 07:30 – 19:30
Thu 19 September: 07:00 – 20:00
Fri 20 September: 07:00 – 20:00
Sat 21 September: 07:00 – 21:00
Sun 22 September: 07:00 – 21:00
Bicycle parking will be available adjacent to the Welcome Pavilion at the entrance. Wentworth Drive is accessible via Wellington Avenue. Please provide your own lock.
Wentworth Club is approximately a 1.3 km (16 min) walk from the centre of Virginia Water and 3.3 km (40 min) from the centre of Sunningdale. Alternatively, if you're staying close to either of the park and ride locations, you could walk to those and then make use of the shuttles.
