The Queen's Club Championships – currently known as the Cinch Championships for sponsorship reasons – has been a staple of the tennis calendar since 1881, when it was established in Stamford Bridge. It moved to the Queen’s Club in 1890 and has remained there ever since, often serving as the final warm-up ahead of Wimbledon for many of the world’s top men’s players.
This year, it takes place from 17-23 June, with Wimbledon starting on 1 July. It’s a key event on the ATP 500 tour and has even been voted ATP Tournament of the Year on 7 occasions over the last decade, including 4 consecutive victories between 2013 and 2016 and back-to-back wins in 2022 and 2023.
Carlos Alcaraz is the defending champion in 2024; the 20-year-old Spanish sensation saw off Alex de Minaur in straight sets in last year’s final before also going on to win Wimbledon, his 2nd major title after the 2022 US Open.
Meanwhile, this event could be one of the last chances fans get to witness Andy Murray play on British soil after he confirmed he is likely to retire later this year:
The Scot is the Queen’s Club Championships’ most successful player with a record 5 titles to his name, so if he’s fit enough to compete it’s likely he’ll want to make a final appearance at a tournament where he’s had so much joy.
Grounds tickets start at just GBP £18, while Centre Court seats start at £60. A range of hospitality options are also available, beginning at £546. For more information on Queen’s Club tickets, click here.
