With less than 40 days to go until the first pitch, excitement is growing for MLB’s London Series. In 2024, the event will take place between 8–9 June as more than 100,000 fans enjoy 2 games between East Coast rivals the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets.
No stranger to star power, the London Series will feature some of baseball’s very best on the field, while famous faces like actor Bill Murray and cricketer James Anderson have previously been spotted in the stands. This year, It’s Always Sunny star and Wrexham AFC Co-Chairman Rob McElhenney is already getting in on the action and can be seen introducing baseball to Welsh football fans in a new MLB TV spot.
Following Wrexham’s promotion to League One last month, the Racecourse Ground is likely to stick with football for the foreseeable future, but baseball fans can get their annual MLB fix at London Stadium when the London Series heads to town between 8–9 June. Tickets for the 2-game series between the Phillies and Mets are available from £59 for adults and £36 for children.
In 2025, MLB’s customary European visit will hop the channel to Paris, so this year’s game will be the last chance to enjoy strikeouts, stolen bases, and soaring home runs at London Stadium before baseball finally returns to the English Capital in 2026.
