2025 PDC Darts Schedule Guide

In 2023–24, over 4.8 million people tuned in to watch the World Darts Championship Final, making it Sky Sports’ highest-ever non football audience. The record was proof of the ever-increasing interest in professional darts – both across the UK and around the world – and more fans than ever are flocking to see tournaments live. In 2025, the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) will host over 130 days' worth of events in cities from Brighton to New York, Belfast to Berlin. Number of Events in the 2025 PDC Darts Season

Over 40 tournaments are scheduled for the 2025 PDC season, including 8 World Series events, 14 European Tour events, and 17 Premier League events. Three of the most prestigious events on the calendar make up the PDC Triple Crown: the World Championship, Premier League Darts Final, and the World Matchplay.

2025 PDC Darts Season Dates

The 2025 PDC Darts season will begin in earnest with the Bahrain Masters, which is set to take place around 16–17 January. As always, the season will conclude with the World Darts Championship in London, which will likely begin around 15 December.

2025 PDC Darts Calendar

2025 Premier League Darts

Premier League Darts is a popular tournament that takes place over multiple weeks during the PDC season. Only 8 players compete in the event (top 4 in the PDC Order of Merit, plus 4 wildcards) with a total prize pot of £1,000,000 on the line. Points are earned at each of the tournament’s "nights" as it travels across the UK and Europe, stopping weekly in cities like Brighton, Glasgow, Rotterdam, and Berlin. The top 4 players in the standings after 16 weeks qualify for the Play-Offs in London, where the winner can take home more than £275,000.

In 2025, Premier League Darts will begin with Night 1 at Belfast’s SSE Arena on 6 February. The competition comes to a close with the Play-Offs at The O2 in London on 29 May.

2025 World Series of Darts

First held in 2013, the World Series of Darts is a series of PDC events that take place across the globe. Like the Premier League, points are earned at each event, with the top 32 players qualifying for the World Series of Darts Finals. Of those 32, the top 8 in the World Series standings earn a bye into the second round.

In 2025, the first event of the World Series of Darts is likely to be the Bahrain Masters in January. The World Series of Darts Finals will act as the series finale on 12–14 September at AFAS Live in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

2025 PDC Darts Competitors

The PDC has 128 tour card holders each season. The top 64 players in the Order of Merit at the end of the season automatically earn a card, and the remaining number is made up of qualifiers and those entering the second year of a 2-year tour card.

The PDC generally releases the following season's calendar in late August or September. This means that darts fans can expect the 2026 schedule to be available from late August/early September 2025.
