The Winter Carnival is a thrilling jump (National Hunt) racing meeting for thoroughbred horses held annually in November at Newbury Racecourse in Berkshire, UK.
The enthralling 2-day festival begins with Long Distance Hurdle Day as you jump into the festive season with top-quality action on the course. Meanwhile, away from the track, you can get into the holiday spirit as the countdown to Christmas begins. The Saturday is Gold Cup Day, named after the feature race, the Gold Cup. High-octane action both on and off the course and followed up with a jolly post-racing after-party.
Winter Carnival Tickets
Newbury Racecourse is divided into 2 main enclosures with varying dress code restrictions, access levels, and ticket price brackets. There are also fantastic hospitality tickets offered. Racegoers purchase a ticket for a full day of racing with access to 1 of the following:
- Premier Enclosure - the premium enclosure at Newbury, tickets for this area give you access to the Berkshire Stand and Hampshire Stand with numerous bars and restaurants as well as viewing access to the Pre-Parade Ring, Parade Ring, and Winners' Enclosure
- Grandstand Enclosure - tickets for the Grandstand Enclosure give you access to the main stand with restaurants, bars, and betting facilities as well as outdoor seating. You will also have viewing access to the Parade Ring
There are discounts on tickets booked far enough in advance. Subject to availability, tickets can be upgraded on the day.
