There is no public parking in Hayward Field on event days. On-street parking is available in the surrounding areas, including on E 18th Avenue and University Street. However, keep in mind that availability can be limited during larger events.
Taxis can drop-off and pick-up from outside the venue gates.
Take public bus route 28 and get off at U of O Station. From here, Hayward Field is a 950 m (11 min) walk.
The closest main line rail station to Hayward Field is Eugene station, located 2.7 km (32 min) walk from the stadium.
Hayward Field is located just 1.5 km (18 min) walk from downtown Eugene and so, if you are staying centrally, you may find walking the easiest way to reach the stadium.
Eugene may be the third-largest city in Oregon, but it is by no means fancy, making it difficult to find luxury accommodation. Eugene is a modest town with modest accommodation that will help provide a comfortable Oregon experience.
There is plenty of in-stadium food and beverage options at Hayward Field. Fans can enjoy a variety of tasty snacks, meals, and beverages at a range of food stands and kiosks located in the west concourse of the stadium. One food stand, aptly named Ashton's Eatins, pays homage to Olympic champion and University of Oregon graduate Ashton Eaton.
The Powell Plaza acts as the main entrance to the stadium at the north-east corner of the site. The entry gate is located at the junction of Agate Street and 15thAvenue. Fans can also gain entry through a second entrance, found on the north-west corner of the stadium.
Next to the south end of the stadium, an east-west pedestrian walkway connects Agate Street to practice fields and runs through to University Street.
To enhance public safety and make venue access more efficient a Clear Bag Policy will be adopted. Ticket holders may bring in 1 clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" or a 1-gallon plastic storage bag.
There is no re-entry allowed once a spectator has entered and left the stadium.
Toilets are conveniently located in between the western and south-western edges of the stadium.
Accessible and companion seats can be found in several areas at the concourse level, typically next to the aisle/stairs of each section in the lower bowl. Fans can also access seating in the upper bowl using the wheelchair lifts.
Hayward Field has a capacity of approximately 30,000. However, the capacity does differ between events depending on the seating configuration.
