UBS Arena is accessible via public transportation and by car. Although there is parking available, it can sell out in advance depending on the event. We recommend purchasing parking in advance as well as the use of public transportation.

There is a range of parking options available and parking can be purchased online in advance of an event. Pending availability, arena guests have access to several lots:
There is designated accessible parking. Emerald Parking has 36 accessible parking spaces available with adjacent access aisles. Diamond Parking has 28 accessible parking spaces available with adjacent access aisles. Silver Parking has 28 accessible parking spaces available with adjacent access aisles. ADA-accessible shuttles, including dedicated accessible vans for on-demand service, will be available for transportation from Emerald, Diamond, and Silver Parking to the arena. For any guests who park in South Parking but require additional assistance, ADA-accessible golf carts will be available for on-demand transportation from South Parking to the arena.
For fans that would prefer not to drive themselves to and from UBS Arena or take the LIRR, there will be an Uber/Lyft transportation center in-between UBS Arena and the Belmont Park racetrack.
Bus is a popular way to reach the arena due to its connection with multiple public routes:
Regular shuttles before and after events will be available to and from Queens Village and Elmont LIRR Stations. Once fans arrive at the Elmont Station, they can either take electric shuttle buses over to UBS Arena or they can take an approximate 900 m (11 min) walk via a covered entertainment walkway wired for sound that will connect the Elmont Station with the plaza at the arena.
As one of the world’s most famous cities to visit, it is inevitably also one of the most expensive. The UBS Arena features market-style outlets that offer a mix of hot, fresh prepared food selections complemented by a variety of ready-to-go meals and self-serve snack and beverage options. The markets use a streamlined checkout process, with self-checkout, mobile ordering, and other cashless payment technology.
Bags that measure no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″ are permitted and will be subject to x-ray or visual screening depending on the size of the bag. Medical bags and baby bags will be permitted and must be screened before entry. All other bags will not be allowed into the arena.
There is no re-entry permitted at UBS Arena for events or games.
Restrooms are conveniently located throughout the arena. All restrooms are equipped with touchless fixtures and dispensers. There are changing tables located in every restroom.
There are bi-level wall-mounted drinking fountains located in guest-facing spaces throughout the arena.
On event days, LIRR trains run through the Belmont Park Station (170 m (2 min) from the arena), Elmont Station, and Queens Village Station (1.3 km (16 min) walk from the arena).

Although you will need to take public transport or drive to reach the iconic sights of New York City, the area surrounding UBS Arena also has plenty to see and do. Hempstead Turnpike has a selection of eateries, while you can also visit Belmont Park racetrack which is right next to the arena.
As the home venue of the NHL's New York Islanders, UBS Arena primarily hosts ice hockey games. Wrestling, MMA, and basketball events as well as music concerts are also often held at the arena. You can find the UBS Arena schedule above.
Tickets for events at UBS Arena vary greatly in price depending on several factors such as the event, the teams playing, the ticket type, and the ticket seller. In the last 12 months, we have seen tickets as low as USD $12 with the average price sitting at around $42. It is possible to purchase tickets at the arena's box office (Ticketmaster Concierge) which is located next to the northeast entrance and is open Monday-Friday 12:00-16:00 (non-event days), Monday-Sunday 12:00 until the event (event days). However, buying tickets online is generally more reliable and more convenient as you are able to view a range of options and prices, and purchase a ticket before arriving at the arena.
UBS Arena has several official parking lots and garages within walking distance of the arena and offering pre-bookable car parking spaces. Gates typically open between 60-90 mins before the start of the event. For some events, you can find the gate/door opening time on Koobit by viewing the event’s Schedule tab. Timings should also be confirmed on your tickets when you receive them.
