The NHL All-Star Weekend is an event featuring an exhibition ice hockey game that is traditionally held during the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL).
With many of the league's star players playing against each other, the game's proceeds benefit the pension fund of the players. The NHL All-Star Game, held in late January or early February, marks the symbolic halfway point in the regular season, though not the mathematical halfway point which is usually 1 or 2 weeks earlier. Since 2015, the event takes the form of a mini-tournament with several teams pitted against each other.
The NHL All-Star Weekend was cancelled for the 2025-26 season due to the Olympics, and is expected to return in 2026-27.
NHL All-Star Weekend Tickets
At the Scotiabank Arena, there are several tiers of standard seating offering tickets with varying views of the action and at different price ranges:
- Lower (100 Level) - close to the athletes so spectators can feel immersed in the event. These are typically the most expensive standard seating options
- Balcony (300 Level) - further from the action but allows spectators to take in the entire arena and the atmosphere typically at a more affordable price than seating on the Lower (100 Level) tier
- Molson Section - a standing section with access to some bar stools located at the west end of the arena behind sections 314-316
There's also the opportunity to watch the game in the luxury and privacy of a suite with various options available:
- Suite (200 Level) - offers fantastic views and private executive boxes with the option to personalise extras
- Gondola Box - enjoy an exclusive experience in a Gondola Box that can accommodate 42 to 114 guests and includes tickets, food and drink, and a host
The NHL All-Star SuperSkills Competition takes place on 2 February and the NHL All-Star Game puck drop is on 3 February.
