Barclays Center is located just 1600m from downtown Brooklyn adjacent to one of the largest transit hubs in New York, so public transportation is the most accessible way of getting to the arena. Parking at the arena is very limited, so patrons are advised to find alternative methods of getting to Barclays Arena, such as bus, subway, or bicycle.
Below you can find general information on travel and parking for Barclays Center. Individual events may have additional/restricted services available, and so we recommend clicking through to the event and viewing the Travel & Parking tab for event-specific information.
Due to its location, parking at Barclays Center is limited. However, there are a number of off-site parking garages near Barclays Center within walking distance:
There are designated drop-off areas along the eastbound shoulder of Atlantic Ave (between Ft. Greene Place and 6th Ave) and the northbound shoulders of Flatbush Ave (between 5th Ave and Atlantic Ave), directly outside the Barclays Center. The latter is also a designated pick-up area.
To prevent traffic congestion and mitigate guest safety risks, eastbound Atlantic Ave (between Ft. Greene Pl and 6th Ave) is closed approximately 1 hour before projected event end time and approximately 20 minutes after end of event
Guests needing to call a taxi may go to any one of the venue's Guest Services Centers for assistance.
As one of the world’s most famous cities to visit, it is inevitably also one of the most expensive. Fortunately, anything is possible in New York – even when it comes to finding affordable accommodation. As long as you compromise on quality or centrality. That said, some of the best bits of the city aren’t actually in the centre anyway, so don’t overspend to be near to Times Square because you really can have a great time anywhere.
Barclays Center offers a wide variety of food and beverage items for guests' enjoyment. The venue also offers gluten-free and kosher options.
Guests may not bring food and/or beverage items into the arena during events. Exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs.
Water/drinking fountains are located on all levels throughout Barclays Center.

There are 7 entrances into the arena, primarily concentrated on Atlantic Avenue:
Please note, there are no entrances on 6th Avenue.
Entry
Door opening times for Barclays Center special events and concerts will vary according to each event. For Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty games, doors will open at least 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start time, with occasional exceptions. For Brooklyn Nets games, the VIP Entrance will open 90 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for courtside ticket holders and suite holders.
Re-entry
Barclays Center has a “No Re-Entry” policy for all events.

Barclays Center is one of the most accessible sports and entertainment venues in the area. Centrally located at the intersection of Atlantic and Flatbush Avenues, it is served by New York’s third-largest transportation hub. Visitors have the option of taking 9 different subway lines and the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), just 8 minutes from Wall Street, 18 minutes from Penn Station, and 20 minutes from Times Square or Grand Central Station. The Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges also provide easy access from Manhattan, while the Holland Tunnel is a quick drive away.
Patrons have the option of bicycle parking at Barclays Center, which is a short 300 m (4 min) walk from the arena.
Guests can leave their bikes secured in one of the outdoor (unprotected) bike racks at Flatbrush & Atlantic Ave or Atlantic Terminal Mall (Atlantic Ave & Ft Greene Pl). The latter also has secure, weather-protected bicycle parking – plus an air pump and charging stations – at Oonee Atlantic Terminal on first-come, first-serve basis. Barclays Center is located in Brooklyn. If you're staying Downtown or in areas such as Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Clinton Hill, or Prospect Heights, then the venue is likely within a 2.5 km (30 min) walk, and so arriving on foot may be practical.
Baby Changing Tables
Baby changing tables are located in every restroom throughout the arena with the exception of the restroom amenities located on the event level.
Family Restrooms
Barclays Center has family restrooms available on all levels of the arena.
Service Animals
Animals are not allowed in Barclays Center; however, an exception is made for leashed, harnessed, and housebroken Service Animals.
Wheelchair Escorts
The Guest Services Center provides complimentary wheelchair escorts to guests when requested. Escorts are available at any entrance when doors open for all guests.
Concession Stands
Every concession stand and bar is accessible to guests with disabilities. If assistance is required at any of the food service areas, please contact the nearest staff member.
Elevators
Elevators for guests with disabilities are available in Barclays Center on the Main Concourse, Lower Suite Level, Upper Suite Level and Upper Concourse. Predesigned elevators leading to the Event Level are also available for guests with ADA needs. Guest Services escorts can be provided when guests with disabilities are in need of event level access.

All public restrooms are accessible to our patrons with disabilities.
Wheelchair & Companion Seating
Barclays Center provides wheelchair and companion seating with appropriate sight lines on all levels. Be advised that Center personnel reserve the right to take appropriate legal action against individuals who fraudulently obtain wheelchair & companion seats.
Access-A-Ride Bus Stop
The Access-A-Ride bus stop at Barclays Center is located on Atlantic Avenue, between Ft. Greene Place and 6th Avenue. The stop is situated on the South Side of Atlantic Avenue, adjacent to the arena, and is nearest the IdentoGO Atlantic Avenue Entrance.
ATM
There are a total of 6 ATMs in Barclays Center. There are 4 located on the Main Concourse of the arena conveniently located at all four corners of the building. In addition, there are 2 located on the Upper Pavilion.
First Aid
Trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) personnel are available to assist any guest in need at every Barclays Center event. The primary First Aid is located on the Main Concourse near the Guest Services Center. A secondary location is on the Upper Pavilion near Section 212.
In addition, Barclays Center is equipped with Automatic External Defibrillators (AED). Designated employees, including our EMT staff, have been properly trained and certified to use the AED. In the event of a medical emergency, contact a member of our Guest Services or Security staff for assistance. These devices are located at both of the First Aid locations.
Guest Services
Guest Services Centers are located on the Main Concourse across from Section 12/112 and on Upper Pavilion behind Section 212. These centers are designed to provide information to guests with questions, concerns, or issues during Barclays Center events. In addition, Guest Services Centers provide assistance to guests with disabilities.
Lost and Found
All lost and found items are taken to Guest Services Centers during events, located on the Main Concourse and Upper Pavilion. During an event, guests should visit a Guest Services Center to inquire about lost items.
Barclays Center has a capacity of approximately 19,000. However, the capacity does differ between events depending on the seating configuration.
